How I can help

Services

No two people experience life's challenges in the same way. I tailor therapy to each individual, drawing from a range of evidence-based approaches to best suit your needs, goals, and stage of life.

01

Cognitive Behaviour Therapy

CBT

Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) is one of the most well-researched and effective psychological treatments for a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, and unhelpful thinking patterns.

CBT explores the relationship between our thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and physical responses. Together, we identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck and develop practical strategies to help you respond to challenges in more balanced and helpful ways.

CBT is collaborative, goal-oriented, and focused on building skills that you can continue using beyond therapy.

02

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy

DBT

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) helps people better understand and manage intense emotions, improve relationships, and develop healthier ways of coping with distress.

DBT focuses on building skills across four key areas:

  • Mindfulness
  • Emotion regulation
  • Distress tolerance
  • Interpersonal effectiveness

DBT can be particularly helpful for people who experience overwhelming emotions, difficulties managing distress, relationship challenges, or patterns of behaviour that feel difficult to change.

03

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

ACT

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) focuses on helping people build a meaningful life while learning to navigate difficult thoughts and emotions.

Rather than focusing on eliminating uncomfortable feelings, ACT supports the development of psychological flexibility - the ability to respond to challenges in ways that align with your values and the person you want to be.

ACT can be helpful for anxiety, depression, perfectionism, stress, and navigating life transitions.

04

Trauma-Informed Approaches

Trauma

Trauma can influence the way we understand ourselves, relate to others, regulate emotions, and experience the world.

A trauma-informed approach prioritises safety, trust, collaboration, and choice throughout therapy. Together, we work at a pace that feels comfortable while developing an understanding of how past experiences may be impacting your present.

The goal is not to revisit difficult experiences before you are ready, but to support you in developing emotional safety, resilience, and confidence.

05

Child-Focused Parent Work

Parents

Children and young people do not exist in isolation, and parents and caregivers play an important role in supporting their emotional wellbeing.

Child-focused parent work involves partnering with parents to better understand their child's emotional, behavioural, and developmental needs while developing practical strategies to support positive change.

This may include:

  • Understanding your child's emotions and behaviours
  • Supporting emotional regulation
  • Strengthening parent-child relationships
  • Developing effective parenting strategies
  • Managing challenging behaviours
  • Increasing confidence in your parenting approach

Small changes within a child's environment can have a significant impact on their wellbeing, and parent support can be an important part of the therapeutic process.

Not sure which approach is right for you?

That's completely okay. During our first session we'll talk through what's going on and figure out the best way forward together.
