About Myah

A registered psychologist with a passion for helping young people and their families navigate life's challenges with confidence and compassion.

A little about me

I work primarily with adolescents and young adults, supporting them through concerns such as anxiety, depression, emotion regulation, self-esteem, ADHD, trauma, eating disorders, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions. I also enjoy working alongside parents and caregivers, helping them better understand and support their young person.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and evidence-based. I believe therapy is most effective when people feel genuinely heard, understood, and accepted. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor therapy to each person's unique experiences, strengths, and goals. Together, we'll work to better understand what's happening, build practical skills, and create meaningful change.

I have experience working across public mental health, private practice, and trauma-informed services, supporting children, adolescents, young adults, and families with a wide range of presentations. These experiences have shaped my understanding that every person's story is different, and that meaningful change happens through connection, curiosity, and small, achievable steps.

Above all, I strive to create a space where people feel safe to be themselves - whether they're navigating a difficult period, seeking support for long-standing challenges, or wanting to better understand themselves.

Outside of psychology, you'll usually find me exploring Melbourne, training for my next running event, spending time with family and friends, or enjoying life with my Aussiedoodle.

I believe in the importance of balance, self-care, and practising the same compassion that I encourage my clients to show themselves.

It is a privilege to be invited into people's lives during vulnerable moments, and I am committed to providing a supportive, respectful, and non-judgmental space where growth can occur.
